Account Setup
Prerequisite: requestor must have successfully applied for an Alternative Textbook Grant (ATG)
OER Librarian and/or Manifold Administrator will ask for preferred email address of grantee
Manifold Administrator create the account for the requestor using the “create user feature”
Login to Manifold as an administrator and enter ‘admin mode’
Click the “records” tab from the top menu bar
Click “users” from new menu bar
Click “add new user” Enter the email address, select “project creator” from the dropdown menu, and enter the first and last name of the new user
Manifold automatically generates a secure password for the new user, there is no need to create one. The system will send an email notifying the new user of their login information (including the auto generated password) and invites the new user to confirm their account by logging in and changing it.
Users will be able to create a new project in the system and manage only projects which they have created.
