Custom Module Installation

• This custom module removes the “Open File” button on the Islandora PDF Viewer. The “Open File” button lets users view files from their desktop on the repository’s PDF viewer. This functionality may be confusing and is unnecessary. This update will streamline the interface and reduce confusion.

Tech Lending moving to LibCal Equipment - Updated web page to go live and individual equipment web pages to be deleted.

On Monday, March 25, the UL's new Technology on Reserve Program will go live! Using the LibCal Equipment Module in our LibApps Platform, library users will be able to reserve technology in advance. LibCal Equipment will streamline the check-out process for UL's front-line employees and give library users more self-sufficiency and options during the reservation process.
