CAS Authentication Exceptions for Social Media Sharing

The CAS Authentication Exception List allows for social-media sharing of pages and sites that would normally be prevented or interfered with by CAS Authentication requirements.
Generally, Web Services will receive a request from the Communications team to add a specific page to the list so it can be published across OU Libraries social media, to advertise events, accomplishments, or other site content across OU Libraries.
Only users with the ADMIN role will be able to access this setting.
1) In the ADMIN toolbar along the top of the page, hover over or click through on Configuration, then People.
2) Click (do not just hover over) CAS Settings to access the menu.
3) The fifth box in the CAS Settings menu is Redirection; it should be collapsed when you access the menu, so open it up.
4) The last option in the Redirection menu is Excluded Pages. You should see a number of pages already listed here; note the way the URL paths are structured, starting after the slash in “libraries.ou.edu/”. Also note the way you can use the asterisk as a wildcard, if you need to exclude multiple pages in a single directory.
5) Paste the URL path provided by the Communications team in at the bottom of this list, then click Save configuration.
