The Discovery Services unit is responsible for the management and upkeep of library service platforms and software. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: the appearance and functionality of the public-facing catalog (Discover); management of the archival collection finding aids search tool (ArchivesSpace); administration of the library service platform and link resolver (Alma); the inventory control software (Zasio) used at OU Libraries' storage facilities; the access and authentication software (EZProxy) that enables patrons to access library resources from off-campus; and the Lean Library research tool. We also work to ensure metadata consistency across: Digital Collections, SHAREOK, and OU Libraries Published Journals repositories.
