Help with Your Featured Collection Request

In Discover:

The Barcode can be located in the Get it section of a full record under “Alma Barcode”:

Open

The MMSID is available in the MARC record field 001, visible by clicking on “Display Source Record”

In Alma:

Do an “All titles” search and the MMSID is visible in the upper right corner of the record:

Do a “Physical items” search and the Barcode is visible on the left side of the record:

You can export a list that includes barcodes and MMSIDs from your Alma search results by clicking on the Export list icon in the upper right:

We can also use a public set that you’ve created in Alma. Please just provide the set name in the comments section.

If creating a set is something you’d like to be able to do, please create an Alma Help request and we will work with you to set it up.

Please supply an image to be used in the Collections Lobby and for your collection’s banner. If your collection has sub-collections, we need separate images for each of those as well. If images aren’t supplied, we will use a dark grey or crimson background instead.

Your image should be rectangular. The full image will display in the Collections Lobby, but only the middle third of it will actually display in the collection’s banner view, seen once the collection has been opened. Images will also scale to fit different screen sizes.
