Interview Funnel

HR’s screening is based on our posted requirements and review of candidate cover letters and resumes.

First Interview: 60 minutes. Focused on projects and teamwork.
~ 10 minutes for introductions and expectations of the role
~ 5 minutes for candidate to walk through resume and experiences
~ 30 minutes to ask prepared question set, emailed to candidate in advance, but answered in the interview.
~ 10 minutes reserved for interviewee questions

Second Interview: Onsite interview for about 60 minutes, split between project partners and leadership. An opportunity for our top candidate(s) to meet with product stakeholders and leadership in-person, focused on culture and bigger picture.

Presentation: 20 minute presentation in response to the provided prompt, plus 10 minutes for Q&A. This presentation will be during the candidate’s onsite visit.

Reference Check: contact references and verify the following

  • Reference verified that they were a good collaborator and communicator.

  • Reference verified that they were reliable and self-directed.

  • Reference confirmed the quality of their project work.
