Setting up Cannon IR C5235 Printer

WHC has a Cannon IR C5235 Printer in their admin office. This document highlights how to add that printer to a windows computer.

The most convenient way to add this printer is through the driver available online and using its IP address.

1. Google Cannon IR C5235 Printer Driver and from this website, download the latest driver. No need to download the supporting documents.

2. Once it installs, extract the file, and run it. As always check the entire location of where it was unzipped in case the date of install changes.

3. Look for “Setup“ and run it.

4. Set language to English and click on Next.

5. Agree to the terms.

6. Click Custom, and click on next

7. Click on next without selecting anything.

8. Scroll all the way up and check mark on “Auto Select” and click on next.

9. Change Printer name, and Set as Default if preferred

10. Under Port, in the right side, click on “Add Port“

11. Select Standard TCP/IP Port, and click OK.

12. Click on Next on the Wizard welcome page.

13. Add Printer IP to the “Printer Name or IP Address“ bar. According to this page, the IP is 10.195.150.12.

14. When the wizard prompts, click Finish.

15. Print test page to verify.
